Construction Defect Forensic Investigation

To provide forensic analysis of alleged construction-related deficiencies we investigate to determine if a structure or system is performing for its intended use. A review and analysis of the Project (often involving a visual inspection of the subject system(s)), Job File(s), Contract(s), testimony of the constructing trades to determine the existence and root cause and/or existence of deficiencies and to further determine the factors contributing to failure, which can include: improper or inadequate construction; deferred maintenance; design deficiencies and/or tolling of a system’s expected useful life. But not all our services are directed to post-claim investigation, we also are active with course of construction consulting. Working hand in hand with the trades we oversee construction and offer daily to monthly oversight to prevent the occurrence of below-standard work. We have aided in the design and specification for waterproofing systems, developed repair protocols, performed special inspections, and facilitated final walk through punch lists to secure the Certificate of Occupancy.
